We provide reliable, advanced and compassionate care for the smallest members of your family.
A Busy Week For Us
EVEC has been all over local media this week, promoting our free, First Aid Kit for pets. It's got all kinds of great information, including how to keep your pets safe from common household poisons, what to do in case of emergency, car safety tips, and more. Best of all, it includes an emergency pet alert decal which alerts firefighters or first responders to pets in your home.

See You at Get Ready In the Park!
EVEC is excited to participate in the City of Edmonton's "Get Ready in the Park" event on Saturday, May 11th, from 10 am to 4 pm. We'll be giving away our Pet First Aid kits, and pet alert decals, which alert firefighters there are animals in your home, in case of emergency.
Stop by and say hello! It's a great event full of emergency preparedness demonstrations (including helicopters, ambulances, and search and rescue dogs). See you at Hawrelak Park.
Found A Stray Pet Within the City of Edmonton?
We accept stray animals when the Animal Care and Control Centre is closed. If the Animal Care and Control Centre is open, please take the stray animal there. For more information on hours and location, please click here.
If the stray pet is injured, or if it is after-hours, please bring it to our clinic. There is no charge for anyone who brings in a sick or injured stray animal.
Stray pets found outside city limits should always be taken to Animal Care and Control.
Found Injured Wildlife?
EVEC does act as a drop-off for injured wildlife. If you find an injured animal, please call the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton at 780-914-4118. They can advise you on how to safely handle the injured wildlife, and bring them to our clinic.
