Update on Hope

After a long road to recovery, and a lot of media attention, we are so happy to announce that Hope has found her "forever" home. Here is a picture of Hope with her new family. She even has a "sibling" named CJ, who she can play with. Special thanks to the City of Edmonton and SCARS for giving Hope a second chance at life.

Stray Dog Warms the Hearts of EVEC

EVEC staff welcomed a very special stray on February 12th. Even though this sweet dog was found suffering from a broken jaw, she still managed to wag her tail and cuddle into the arms of the staff who were trying to help her. EVEC and the City of Edmonton agreed to split the costs of her care at EVEC, and Dave Fowler from Guardian Veterinary Centre volunteered his time to complete her surgery.

EVEC staff named this very special dog "Hope", because without owners, the outlook for this stray dog was not very good. Hope brought as much love and happiness to EVEC staff as was given to her.
